Low Key New Years

New Years Eve has always been a roller coaster. Sometimes I am very bummed about the New Years Eve, when I didn't have plans. Sometimes, we have worked hard and made plans. Last year, we hosted a party that was a success, but was alot of work and I think I was hoping that someone else would pick up the baton.

In other years, we kept it low key. In 2006, we went to a friend of J's house and hung out.

2005 we didn't even mention our plans. 2004 had J and I just hanging out.

I think this year, we are just going to hang out. I invited M to come down and hang. I don't want to make him feel obligated as we are not planning anything big, but I do enjoy hanging out with him and we could play games and just hang. I am thinking he is 50/50 for tonight.

We will get some snacks and alcohol and ring on the New Year on a low low key.

But I don't care this year.

I am getting old.

Its Routineville, where low key is the word of the day.
